Varsity Triathlon - 11th May 2024

Varsity Triathlon is the highlight of the CUTriC racing calender, and regardless of whether its your first time racing or youre going for a blue, anyone is welcome to race with us. 

Some basics you'll need to race in a triathlon: 

• Running shoes (with lock laces preferrably)

• Road Bike in good working order (but mountain bikes are allowed too)

• Wet Suit (the club has many of these available to hire)

• Tri Belt

• Tri Suit

• Bike Helmet

• Swim costume/shorts + goggles + Hat. 

Optional:

• Vaseline, talc and wetsuit lube. 

Results of Varsity triathlon: 

The Varsity is decided based on the cumulative times from the first 6 athletes to finish from Oxford and Cambridge.

Triathlon Blues: 

Full blue: Top 6 at Varsity Triathlon + Top 15% at BUCS Triathlon

Half Blue: Top 6 at Varsity Triathlon + Top 30% at BUCS Triathlon.
